QVD 4.2 Released. USBIP


Qindel Group Releases QVD 4.2 of its virtualization product.

Technology Company Qindel Group announces the release of an update to its virtualization product QVD with the new USIP feature as the most prominent enhacement.

Madrid, 1st October 2020, Spain. Qindel Group launches the new version QVD 4.2.

QVD 4.2 Virtual Deckard adds an improvement in the USB devices management and connection for Linux distributions, allowing the usb passthrough from the client to the remote desktop in a more fluent way.

  • Since version 4.2, QVD supports these distribution versions
    • SLES15SP1
    • RHEL7
  • The version 4.2, still supports these versions from Developer branch:
    • Centos 7.8
    • Ubuntu 18.04
