This week, the QVD is proud to be participating in the 6th Free Software Forum at the Polytechnic University of Tlaxcala in Mexico. The forum, which also takes in the University’s first Congress of Information technology, runs from the 14th to the 16th of November. The QVD’s Allan Sandoval will be making a presentation on QVD and Desktop Virtualisation from 2pm in the Office One. More information about the the Forum can be found on the Facebook Page (Spanish).
It’s been a busy year for the QVD in South America, with Allan attending and making presentations at Quinto Congreso Nacional de Seguridad y Software Libre (5th National Congress of Security and Software Libre) back in March. More recently he has made presentations at ENLi 2012, and the Festival de Software Libre Vallarta 2012. This latter festival was a particular success with hugely positive feedback from participants. We’ll leave you with a picture of Allan presenting at Festival de Software Libre Vallarta. If you’d like to see the material that Allan is presenting, you can download a copy (Spanish only) of his presentation. Also, you can follow Allan on Twitter if you’d like to know more about our work in South America and perhaps catch up with him at future events.
